Position Overview
The Architectural Designer will play a key role in the production and coordination of architectural projects from design development through construction documentation. This position is ideal for a technically strong designer who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and can contribute immediately to project delivery efforts. The successful candidate will possess advanced Revit skills, experience producing high-quality construction documents, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams. This role is focused on project execution, documentation, and technical production rather than purely conceptual design.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce Revit-based architectural drawings and construction documentation for a variety of project types.
- Support project delivery from design development through construction document completion.
- Prepare, revise, and maintain drawing packages while incorporating design changes and redline markups.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty consultants.
- Assist with project planning and execution to maintain schedules, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Produce detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and help resolve design and constructability issues.
- Maintain organized and coordinated drawing sets throughout all project phases.
- Support BIM workflows and project collaboration using cloud-based project management platforms.
- Contribute to project success through proactive communication, technical problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Approximately 5-7 years of professional architectural design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit with the ability to contribute immediately in a production-focused environment.
- Strong experience preparing architectural construction documents.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed drawings and incorporate design revisions efficiently.
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, and construction documentation standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within an architectural or architecture/engineering consulting firm.
- Background working on federal, military, healthcare, laboratory, educational, industrial, civic, or institutional projects.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 , Autodesk Construction Cloud , and collaborative BIM workflows.
- Experience with AutoCAD , Adobe Photoshop , rendering software, or architectural visualization tools.
- Exposure to interior architecture and interior design projects.
- Experience supporting field investigations, site assessments, shop drawing reviews, or construction administration activities.
- Progress toward architectural licensure is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.69/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
