About this role

West Parc Apartments, owned and managed by Central Bethany, an established and growing real estate development and property management company just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to join our West Parc Apartment team! The successful candidate will provide support to community management by discovering and resolving project issues for tenants, inspecting the work performed by other maintenance staff and participating in construction and maintenance-related projects in order to ensure excellent standards of service.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $26.50- $27.00

Shift: Full Time

Drivers License required.

Main Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and ensure tenant service requests related to plumbing, painting, apartment turns, pool maintenance, and HVAC are carried out effectively and timely.

- Collaborate with Community Manager to ensure vacant units are prepared in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance requests and expenditures

- Facilitate inventory and ordering needs

- Ensure maintenance operations run in the most economical and safe manner possible

- Ensure that preventative repairs are done on a regular basis.

- Interact with tenants in a professional, courteous and non-discriminatory manner

- Organize maintenance shop and storage areas.

- Immediately respond to maintenance emergency situations

- Ensure facility is in accordance with all applicable building codes, ordinances, pool safety, fire codes and emergency evacuation regulations.

- Assist in monitoring facilities/security emergency calls 24/7 and serve as back-up for all properties

- Inspect and report all warranty related issues on a weekly basis

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 - 5 years property management experiencing working as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Maintenance Technician

- Basic math proficiency required

- Highly motivated and able to work independently

- Thorough understanding of all maintenance related skills such as HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool operations & maintenance, landscaping, etc.

- Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
