About the role
As the Manager – Supply Chain Governance & Improvement, you will lead the governance, performance, and continuous improvement of Orica's global Source to Procure to Pay (S2P2P) process. You will drive process excellence by managing key supply chain KPIs, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic initiatives, capability uplift, and sustainable business value.
What you will be doing
- Drive and implement governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across Orica's Source to Procure to Pay (S2P2P) process.
- Track, measure, and report Supply Chain KPIs to improve performance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor adherence to governance, risk, and control requirements, ensuring processes remain compliant and fit for purpose.
- Define the strategic direction of the S2P2P portfolio, aligning process improvements with business objectives.
- Lead and prioritize process enhancement initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support business transformation through process improvement, change management, digital initiatives, and portfolio governance.
- Manage portfolio reporting, including project progress, value delivery, investment, and return on investment.
- Develop learning tools and resources to strengthen process adoption and capability across the Supply Chain function.
- Partner with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, GBS, Legal, Risk, Sustainability, Finance, and Tax to drive alignment and improvement.
- Lead and develop a team responsible for supply chain governance, process excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience within Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, or other relevant B2B industries.
- Background in consulting, business process improvement, governance, risk, and controls.
- Degree-qualified with at least 6 years of leadership experience.
- Proven experience in strategy development and execution.
- Strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience working with SAP and Ariba-enabled business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Audit Committees and global leadership forums.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
