About this role

The GIS Analyst will design, deploy, and maintain ArcGIS field data collection solutions and web applications to support operational field inspections. This role focuses on building and managing ArcGIS Survey123 forms, ArcGIS Field Maps configurations, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and enabling mobile workflows for field staff. The analyst collaborates with subject‑matter experts to translate business processes into reliable geospatial solutions, provides training and documentation, follows security requirements and implements analytics to improve data accuracy, timeliness, and usability. Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online.
- Experience with ArcGIS Survey123 Connect and complex XLSForms including repeats, pulldata, nested choice filters, media, and multiple geopoints.
- Experience developing and maintaining ArcGIS Survey123 forms, ArcGIS Field Maps configurations, Dashboards, and Experience Builder apps.
- Working knowledge of Arcade for calculated fields, expressions, and app logic.
- Experience with accessibility requirements in web apps.
- Experience publishing and managing feature services and web maps in ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online.
- Clear communication skills with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and end‑user training experience.

Additional Considerations:

- Experience integrating GIS data and ArcGIS content with other data science platforms (e.g., Posit Connect, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience working with enterprise SQL and, or Oracle geodatabases.
- Automation including Survey123 and Feature Service Webhooks, Power Automate, APIs, Python .
- ArcGIS Pro data preparation, schema design, map authoring, and service publishing.
- Coursework in Environmental Science, Data Science/Analytics, GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years professional experience delivering ArcGIS solutions with ArcGIS Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builder.
