About this role
What You'll Do
Education department interns will:
- Help plan, prepare for, and implement arts-based educational experiences for diverse audiences.
- Learn about daily practices within the museum profession.
- Further develop their appreciation and understanding of masterworks on view in the galleries.
- Facilitate a 30-minute gallery discussion at the end of the internship cycle, informed by provided readings, supervised research, and practice sessions.

Program Dates & Pay
- Session dates: January 15 – May 1 (15 weeks / 150 hours).
- Applications open: October 1.
- Applications close: October 31.
- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications
The application requires:
- A resume describing any work or extracurricular experience.
- A cover letter explaining what you hope to gain from participating in the Kimbell internship program.
- An unofficial transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Four academic or professional references.
