Role Summary
The AGM – Training (Sales Force - BSBU) is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving learning and capability-building programs for the sales organization. This role ensures sales teams are equipped with the skills, product knowledge, and behaviors required to achieve revenue and customer engagement goals. The position works closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and HR to align training with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Training Strategy
• Develop and execute sales force training strategy aligned with business and revenue goals
• Identify sales capability gaps through performance data and field insights
• Design role-based learning paths for sales representatives, managers, and leaders
Training Design & Delivery
• Create and deploy sales training programs covering selling skills, product knowledge, and compliance
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and blended training sessions
• Develop assessments, certifications, and reinforcement plans
Sales Enablement & Performance Support
• Partner with Sales Force Effectiveness and Sales Operations teams to support field execution
• Develop sales playbooks, tools, and job aids
• Drive adoption of sales methodologies and best practices
Coaching & Manager Enablement
• Enable frontline sales managers with coaching frameworks and tools
• Train managers on effective coaching and performance management
• Support on-the-job learning through field coaching and observations
Measurement & Impact
• Define KPIs to measure training effectiveness and business impact
• Track learning completion, certification rates, and performance improvement
• Use feedback and data to continuously enhance programs
Digital Learning & Content Management
• Leverage LMS/LXP and digital platforms for scalable learning delivery
• Curate and manage sales training content and learning journeys
• Drive microlearning and continuous reinforcement initiatives
Stakeholder & Team Management
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and HR leaders on capability development
• Manage trainers, facilitators, and external vendors
• Support budget planning and training operations
