A little about the role

As Corporate Finance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations, workload planning and performance of the Corporate Finance Team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, you will oversee timely and accurate statutory and investment reporting, Australian and New Zealand tax compliance, month-end accounting, general ledger integrity, balance sheet controls, payroll review and transactional banking services across the Group.

This is a key leadership role in the Group’s financial control environment. You will coordinate internal and external audit requirements, support core banking relationships and help deliver monthly, half-year, interim and year-end financial statement close activities, including the annual preparation of four sets of accounts. You will also provide essential oversight for daily banking approvals and back-up support for fortnightly payroll approvals.

Alongside core delivery, you will lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across finance. Working with senior leaders, internal teams, auditors, advisers and banking partners, you will strengthen governance, improve data quality, expand automation and deliver sustainable gains in efficiency, accuracy, compliance and service delivery.
