About this role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Digital Enterprise team and help shape how design is practised across HCF.
Senior Product Designer (Design System)
Sydney | Hybrid | HCF
Help shape the future of design at HCF
This role has a strong focus on design systems , with a unique opportunity to take a fresh, clean-slate approach to how we build and scale design across our digital experiences. You’ll help define our approach to components, Figma libraries, documentation, governance and ways of working — working closely with designers, product teams and engineers to create a system that enables better, more consistent member experiences.
You’ll also lead the design of complex digital products, using research and user-centred design to simplify complex insurance journeys and create accessible, intuitive experiences.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience in UX/UI and digital product design across web and mobile.
- Advanced Figma and design tooling skills.
- Experience working with design systems, libraries, components or scalable design practices.
- Strong understanding of user research, usability and accessibility standards such as WCAG.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering and diverse business stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of Agile ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and build alignment.
- A bias towards action — you like testing ideas, solving problems and creating momentum.
Experience in healthcare, insurance or another regulated industry is desirable, as is experience with emerging AI and agentic design tools.
This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up, with the autonomy and trust to help define what great design looks like at HCF.
If you’re excited by design systems, solving complex problems and creating better digital experiences for customers, we’d love to hear from you.
