Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for overseeing and enhancing security operations within the organization, with a strong focus on safeguarding security-related applications, databases, and various system environments. As a leader within the Cybersecurity team, this role involves guiding the development and implementation of processes and technologies that bolster overall business operations, with a particular emphasis on strategic cybersecurity initiatives. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with teams across other cybersecurity disciplines, as well as infrastructure and operations areas, to ensure exceptional protection for information assets. This position also involves providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to cybersecurity professionals and driving continuous improvement in security practices and protocols.

Essential Job Functions

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering their growth and evolution in the digital security domain. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, leveraging digital security expertise to guide and coach team members effectively. - (20%)
- Act as a catalyst for digital change, collaborating with leaders to implement transformative cybersecurity initiatives. Drive the creation and management of the cybersecurity team's digital strategy and vision, promoting a culture of innovation and agility in a fast-paced, multi-threaded environment. - (20%)
- Partner with internal teams to develop strategic and tactical plans for digital security, ensuring that major system and application changes adhere to cybersecurity standards. Simplify complex digital concepts into comprehensible terms and resolve conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving. - (20%)
- Lead the design and implementation of critical digital security projects aligned with the organization's long-term cybersecurity strategy. Identify process gaps and implement new digital procedures to enhance security operations, demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality results. - (20%)
- Maintain robust internal processes and procedures to ensure the digital effectiveness of the cybersecurity team. Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive digital documentation, including run books, architecture, and technical requirements. Assist in managing the department budget, focusing on digital investments and training. - (20%)

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- One or more field related professional technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CDPSE) or able to complete within 12 months.
- 10-13 years of work experience in Information Security, IT Audit or Risk Management.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Two or more field related professional technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CDPSE)
- 13-15 years of work experience in Information Security, IT Audit or Risk Management.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in IGA, including Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML), Access Certifications, RBAC, SoD, and Access Governance.
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint, Okta, Active Directory / Entra ID, and enterprise IAM platforms.
- Experience leading IAM transformation programs such as RBAC implementation, identity lifecycle modernization, PAM, and governance initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, API Security, and Federation.
- Experience with Cloud IAM (AWS/Azure) and modern identity architectures, including service and non-human identities.
- Proven ability to build and execute IAM roadmaps, manage stakeholders, drive projects/programs, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with an automation mindset and exposure to emerging areas such as AI/Agentic AI Identity Governance and Machine Identity Management.
