About this role

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Finance team as a Financial Reporting & Analysis Analyst in Birmingham. The team provides high-quality financial reporting, planning and analysis that supports decision-making across the business.

You'll be involved in producing monthly management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to a range of finance projects and initiatives.

This role would suit a part-qualified accountant looking to further develop their career. We will support you in completing your professional qualification through study and exam support, while also providing training in the TM1 systems used within the role.

About you:

We are looking for a commercially minded and naturally curious finance professional who enjoys working with data and translating numbers into meaningful business insights. You will have an interest in finance systems and data, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the confidence to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues.

You will be eager to learn, keen to develop your technical skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience within a law firm or professional services organisation would be advantageous, as would exposure to IBM Cognos and multi-office, multi-currency environments, although full training will be provided.
