Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement to establish standard operating times.
- Develop and maintain manpower norms based on production requirements and process capabilities.
- Perform line balancing to achieve optimum workload distribution across workstations.
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies.
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and manufacturing performance indicators.
- Plan production capacities and evaluate resource requirements for current and future volumes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Drive waste reduction initiatives related to motion, waiting time, transportation, inventory, defects, and overprocessing.
- Prepare plant layouts and workstation designs to optimize material flow and space utilization.
