About Qobra:

Founded in July 2020, Qobra is a SaaS platform that turns sales compensation into a powerful driver of performance, motivation, and retention.

Qobra automates commission calculations while making variable compensation clear, transparent, and motivating for sales teams. Revenue Operations teams can easily build and manage even the most complex compensation plans through an intuitive calculation engine, while sales reps can track their earnings in real time as soon as they close a deal.

In just five years, Qobra has earned the trust of more than 350 companies worldwide , including ElevenLabs, n8n, Doctolib, SeLoger, Spendesk, Welcome to the Jungle, Pennylane or ContentSquare.

Today, we're a team of 50 people and we've established Qobra as a leader in the European market and we're now entering our next chapter: building the global leader in sales compensation.

The product is changing fast: we've just launched 3 new AI agents inside Qobra , marking a major shift in how we're building the platform. AI is not a side project or an experiment on the roadmap: it's becoming a core part of how our users will build, understand and manage compensation.

But there is still a huge amount to invent.

Why this role, why now?

At the heart of Qobra sits one of our most important product challenges: turning extremely complex compensation logic into a product that feels simple.

Behind a commission calculation can sit multiple currencies, targets, attainment rules, exceptions, historical data, dependencies and thousands of employees.

As Qobra grows and serves larger, more complex international companies, our product must handle that complexity without passing it on to users.

That's the playground of the POW Squad.

We're looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of this strategic product area and help us build the next generation of Qobra's calculation experience. You’ll work on our Compensation Editor and explore how AI can make complex compensation plans easier to build, understand, troubleshoot, and manage.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit a polished roadmap and execute it. There is a lot left to build.

You’ll work closely with customers, prospects, CS and Sales, exploring their different perspectives to understand what really matters. You’ll form your own point of view, make clear decisions when opinions differ, and see them reach users quickly as Qobra expands upmarket and internationally.

You'll have a real voice in where the product goes next.

✅ Mission & Outcomes

Make one of Qobra's most complex product areas incredibly powerful, without making it feel complex.

You'll own the product direction around our calculation engine and Comp Editor alongside Engineering and Design.

Your role will be to understand problems deeply enough to make strong decisions about what we should build, how we should build it and what we should deliberately leave behind.

You'll:

- Go deep into the product: understand compensation calculations, customer pain, technical constraints, dependencies and edge cases.
- Own discovery: look beyond feature requests, test assumptions with customers and prospects, and identify the problems worth solving.
- Put numbers behind opportunities: estimate their impact on revenue, conversion, retention, efficiency and the P&L. Whether you’re improving a landing page or simplifying a complex workflow, know what success would be worth and how you’ll measure it.
- Make strong product calls: bring together perspectives from users, Sales, CS, Engineering and Design, then form a point of view and make the trade-offs.
- Build with AI: explore how it can improve the product and use it as a natural part of how you work.
- Turn complexity into simplicity: make sophisticated compensation logic accessible to larger, more demanding organizations.

We don't measure great Product Management by the number of features shipped. We care about your ability to learn fast, understand difficult problems, quantify their business impact, make clear decisions and build products users love.

💥 What will success look like?

After 3 months: Go deep

- You understand the calculation engine, Comp Editor and our customers deeply enough to have your own point of view.
- You're already challenging assumptions, identifying edge cases and contributing to product decisions rather than simply absorbing context.
- You've started shipping with the squad and you're becoming increasingly fluent in how AI can be used in your product work.

After 6 months: Own & build

- You're independently driving discovery and product decisions for POW.
- You've shipped meaningful improvements to the calculation experience and can confidently arbitrate between customer needs, business opportunities and technical constraints.
- You've also shipped concrete AI-powered improvements and AI is becoming a natural part of how you approach new product problems.
- New territory doesn’t intimidate you. You’re willing to explore unfamiliar problems, test ideas and help shape Qobra’s product direction.

After 12 months: Shape what's next

- You’re the product reference for this domain , with a deep understanding of compensation logic, customer needs and the business impact of your decisions.
- You’ve made sophisticated compensation plans easier to create, understand and manage, including through meaningful uses of AI.
- You’re curious and open to feedback, but confident in your point of view. You can make a case for a direction, change your mind when the evidence calls for it, and turn your thinking into a concrete product plan.
- You connect the dots beyond your own scope: you see how customer feedback, market shifts and decisions across the product should shape what Qobra builds next.

🔥 Your profile

We're looking for someone with high potential, strong product instincts and the ambition to have a real impact.

You don't need to have seen everything already, but you need to learn fast, go deep and want responsibility.

Must have

- 4+ years in Product Management on a B2B product with a substantial user-facing experience.
- Strong discovery skills: you speak with customers and prospects, look beyond feature requests, and know how to test whether a problem is worth solving.
- Strong business sense: you size opportunities and connect product decisions to conversion, revenue, retention or efficiency.
- Comfort with complexity: you dig into data, calculations and technical constraints, then make them simple for users.
- A clear point of view: you bring together input from customers, Sales, CS and Engineering, make decisions, and adjust when you learn something new.
- Hands-on use of AI in your work, with curiosity about its potential for users.
- Fluency in French and English.

Nice to have

- Experience in fintech, data, cybersecurity or another complex B2B product.
- Experience designing intuitive interfaces for technical or financial workflows.
- Experience shipping AI-powered features.

And about AI...

If you've already shipped meaningful AI, ML or agentic experiences, we definitely want to hear about it. It's a strong plus, but not a requirement!

What is required is the learning velocity and curiosity to become excellent at it quickly . We're looking for someone who sees the current shift in AI and thinks: “I want to be in the middle of this.”
