YOUR ROLE:
The Logistics System & Process Improvement Intern supports the management and continuous improvement of systems, digital tools, and operational processes related to frames and wearable products.
Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and System Key Users, the intern will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, WMS processes, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The position is designed for candidates who are eager to learn, proactive, data-driven, and interested in developing a career in logistics, operations, and supply chain systems.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
Operational Support & System Monitoring
- Support daily warehouse operations by monitoring inbound, picking, and outbound activities through logistics systems.
- Assist in identifying and reporting system issues, process deviations, or data inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure correct use of WMS and RF devices.
- Support shift handover activities by collecting and organizing operational information.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Extract, consolidate, and analyze operational data using Excel and reporting tools.
- Support KPI monitoring and performance tracking activities.
- Assist in preparing reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making.
- Help maintain the accuracy of system parameters and master data.
Continuous Improvement Projects
- Contribute ideas for process simplification and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics processes and digital tools.
- Support root cause analyses and problem-solving activities.
Learning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Learn warehouse management systems, operational workflows, and automation technologies.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Support documentation updates, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Interest in warehouse automation, digital transformation, and operational excellence methodologies
- Good analytical skills and willingness to work with data.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Pivot Tables and data analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP, or logistics systems is considered a plus, not a requirement.
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
PLUS:
- Basic knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization tools.
- Academic projects, thesis work, or previous internship experience related to logistics, operations, data analysis, or process improvement.
LANGUAGES:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
