A bit about you
Customer focused, delivery focused, stakeholder manager, coach.
It's an exciting time at Sullivan & Stanley: we're growing our team and our client base. We're looking for an experienced Delivery Director to join us in an instrumental role for the continued growth of our Northern hub. You'll take leadership of our client engagements and delivery teams, providing oversight and assurance across all engagements. You'll be responsible for successful delivery, acting as a sounding board to clients and a coach to the team to ensure excellent execution.
You'll bring a blend of management consultancy and client-side practitioner skills, with demonstrable experience in a senior delivery role shaping and delivering successful engagements with clients on their change and transformation journeys.
Having spent time cutting your teeth in consulting before going client-side, you'll have developed commercial acumen and the ability to shape solutions and outcomes with clients. Your time client-side will have given you a first-hand appreciation of the challenges of delivering change.
Doing the right thing for our customers will come naturally to you, and you'll understand that great execution drives the successful growth of the business.
You'll be excited to play a pivotal role in the growth of S&S, our strategy, our approach and our people, specifically as part of the senior leadership team in the North.
You will...
- Spearhead successful customer outcomes for a multi-million-pound portfolio of enterprise clients across a range of sectors, taking accountability for delivery success and acting as the connecting point of contact between key client stakeholders, our consultants and our associates.
- Shape strong client engagements to ensure deliverables are tangible, effective and aligned to deliver sustainable value in 90-day cycles.
- Pull together the right capabilities from within our consultancy team and the associates within our Change Society to deploy best-in-class delivery teams.
- Work in partnership with the Client Principal and Managing Director in a pre-sales capacity to support the definition of the problem statement and outcomes for our clients, before taking accountability for execution and delivery.
- Draw on our consulting practice capabilities to identify opportunities to support our clients with their change agendas.
- Support the contracting process, ensuring potential translates to value for all parties in line with our Customers for Life focus.
- Continually expand your knowledge by staying on top of industry trends and changes, and share this knowledge across S&S, clients and communities.
- Be a role model for our values and an ambassador for S&S and our Customers for Life philosophy.
You will demonstrate...
- Demonstrable experience engaging with clients around their change and transformation needs.
- A relentless focus on the customer, with an execution mindset.
- The ability to cut through and simplify complexity to deliver at pace.
- Strong skills in forming and building relationships at CxO level.
- An accomplished, people-first leader, adept at coaching and mentoring, and comfortable leading from the front.
- The ability to galvanise people, shaping high-performing teams that execute transformations and programmes brilliantly.
- Commercial savvy, with the gravitas to influence at all levels in a matrix environment.
Benefits
- Hybrid working — you choose your location for the day's work
- Collaborative space and offices in central Manchester for team-focused work
- Unlimited annual leave
- Monthly gym membership contribution
- Pension and life assurance (death in service)
- Flexible working — you own your day and week
