Your Team Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and service-oriented individual to join our France Belgium Luxembourg Real asset coverage team as a client consultant.
Real Asset Consultants act as trusted advisors to our clients across the region and have responsibility for managing the associated client relationships. Consultants look to develop deep linkages with our clients and help clients make best usage of our products in the context of their investment, asset management or risk process and their business goals.
This role is a highly visible one, with involvement in all aspects of an account including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, users training and education, and client experience enhancing activities such as presenting at client workshops, seminars, and webinars. In this role, individuals will work very closely with sales, global client service, marketing, research and product management.
Successful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of real estate market and financial industry, highly analysis skills and an ability to guide institutional clients to better use our products for assessing risks and making investment decisions. The successful candidate must be adaptable, able to lead efforts to solve clients' problems.

Your Key Responsibilities
The MSCI Real estate client consultant ensures its clients receive valuable services from MSCI, maximizing their take up of relevant services. MSCI Client Consultants work closely with MSCI Sales, Client Service and Product Management teams. Responsibilities include:
- Manage relationships within our France BeLux client base; work closely with senior client executives & fund managers; implement strategic plans to ensure client retention.
- Develop expertise in MSCI products as well as latest real estate trends and regulatory landscape to provide clients with Best Practices guidance.
- Identify opportunities to increase client usage of our products and identify new users.
- Work closely with the sales team on potential up-selling and cross-product selling opportunities. Assist in campaigns on new product placement.
- Proactively engage with clients to keep them informed of our product road map with a view on how our development efforts will help them achieve their business goals; proactively solicit client feedback regarding future product development.
- Work with internal functional teams to ensure that all clients requests / inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Respond to detailed client enquiries about methodologies and analysis; hold advanced client training / workshops; present in seminars.
Based in our Paris office, travel to client locations across France, Belgium and Luxembourg may be required.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Experience helping to develop and pitch investment opportunities, investment strategies, portfolio reviews, asset budgets internally to Portfolio Manager teams or Investment Committee or investors
- Superior analytical, written & verbal communication presentation, problem solving, time management and negotiation skills
- Strong team skills and emotional maturity, with proven ability for independent work and self-teaching
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment
- Experience working for an Asset Owner, Asset Manager, Listed Real Estate company or real estate consultant in research/strategy, portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management or investor relations
- Understanding of the global real estate investment industry, financial markets and investment processes
- Relationship management experience
- Fluent in French and English. Other language skills a plus
- Desired qualification: BA, MA in real estate, finance, economics
