About this role
The Opportunity
Fossefall is building GPU infrastructure and the platform that runs on top of it. With capacity coming online, we are now building a dedicated product function to shape what we offer, who it is for and how it reaches the market.
As our first Product Manager, you will own everything Fossefall delivers on the platform, starting with our first service, an inference offering, and extending to further services as the portfolio grows. This is a shaping role as much as a delivery role: neither the direction of the portfolio nor the name and positioning of the first service is settled, and we expect you to help set both.
What you'll do
- Own the inference service through closed beta and launch, including the naming, brand and value proposition work that is still open.
- Build and own the product roadmap for the platform, deciding what we build, for whom, in what order and on what commercial terms.
- Lead product discovery through customer research and problem validation, and turn the findings into prioritised decisions.
- Keep a living picture of the GPU cloud and inference market and its competitors.
- Build business cases for new services, including volume, pricing and margin assumptions, and define SKUs and packaging with the commercial side so they are reflected in metering and billing.
- Translate priorities into requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering, and make the call on what is in and out of each release.
- Shape positioning and go-to-market material, and feed input from self-service users and contracted customers back into the roadmap.
About you
- Proven product management experience, having owned a product or service end to end through discovery, launch and iteration.
- Experience taking a product to market from a blank sheet, covering positioning, naming and value proposition.
- Hands-on discovery and business case work: customer interviews, problem validation, market analysis, unit economics and pricing.
- Clear written communication in professional working English.
- Experience from AI, inference, developer-facing products or cloud infrastructure is an advantage, but the appetite to get deep into the domain quickly matters more. Nordic market experience or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
You are comfortable with ambiguity, would rather talk to customers than reason from the desk and can disagree constructively while changing your mind when the evidence moves.
What success looks like
Within the first few months, discovery and competitor analysis feed directly into what engineering builds, so the platform is built against validated demand rather than assumption. Pricing and packaging for the inference service are settled in time for metering and billing, naming and value proposition have been decided deliberately and you have drawn the line between product and platform ownership together with the Platform Team.
Why Fossefall?
You will be Fossefall's first product hire, reporting to the CTO and working close to the engineers who build the platform. There are no direct reports at the start: you lead through influence, and the role is expected to grow into broader product ownership as the portfolio expands. Some boundaries of the role are deliberately left open so we can draw them together with you.
About Fossefall

We develop and operate AI factories powered by renewable energy, turning clean Nordic power into scalable, sovereign computing capacity for Europe, built in partnership with local communities, energy producers and technology leaders across the world. As a team, we are still small enough to know each other as people, and our culture is shaped by ownership, curiosity, warmth and collaboration.
