Location: Liège, Belgium.
Your role:
· Your main responsibility is the maintenance, preventive and proactive adjustments, repairs, basic calibration, installation, and dismantling of laboratory diagnostic equipment, respecting deadlines and guidelines regarding productivity and profitability.
· You will be responsible for managing spare parts, considering the economic impact for the company (orders, tracking, returns within set deadlines…).
· You hold first-line responsibility for customer satisfaction regarding their equipment, attitude, and proactive measures aimed at optimizing services and the client’s image.
· You inform management or the Customer Service Area Manager of the relevant region in case of customer satisfaction issues or inability to meet contractual obligations.
· You are also responsible for the rigorous completion of all tasks and administrative reports using a mobile platform.
Work Experience
Your qualifications and experience:
· You are ideally based in the area between Liège and the Belgian Luxembourg, but you may be required to carry out assignments throughout Belgium and Luxembourg.
· You hold a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or an industrial engineering degree, specializing in electronics, electromechanics, or automation (minimum A1).
· You have a strong interest in “fine” technical work.
· You have IT and networking knowledge.
· You have an excellent command of French (C2), can follow a conversation in Dutch (minimum A2), and have a good knowledge of English (B1-B2) (technical English is mandatory to understand manuals and training offered).
· You are stress-resistant.
· You have a keen sense of communication.
· You are results-, solution-, and quality-oriented.
· You are autonomous, proactive, flexible, and enjoy taking initiatives.
· You have strong analytical skills and a well-developed practical sense.
You are familiar with Microsoft tools: MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, Windows
