About this role

Job Summary
Collects and evaluates data to identify potential risks and their financial impact on the organization. Supports risk management decision-making through reports, models, forecasts, risk scenario analysis, and financial risk management activities.

Job Responsibilities

- Financial Risk Management - Carry out the financial risk management process within a specific area or operation, maintaining alignment with risk tolerance policies.
- Risk Scenario Modeling - Support the analysis and assessment of risks to determine whether they are within the agreed risk appetite.
- Data Collection and Analysis - Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
- Advanced and Predictive Analytics - Support interpretation of advanced and predictive analytics data, using basic software tools and functionalities.
- Insights and Reporting - Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
- Information and Business Advice - Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.
- Operational Compliance - Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
- Personal Capability Building - Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Qualifications:

- A university degree in accounting or relevant professional qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles
- Strong knowledge of Oracle R12 and Blackline
- High-level knowledge of the R2R, P2P, and CRR processes
- Intermediate skills in quality-checking balance sheet reconciliations
- Intermediate skills in performing analytical review of the company ledger
- Exposure in financial statements preparation is highly preferred
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- High degree of commitment to meet deadlines
- Pragmatic, hands-on, flexible & adaptable to change, self-starter
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
- Must be in current role for 1 year
- Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
- Must not be enrolled in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for the last 12 months
- Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 months
