People & Operations Partner (Part-time)

We’re looking for a hands-on and approachable People & Operations Partner to support our B2B business, Swintt, and take care of the day-to-day People and office needs of a small, international team.

This is a varied role covering the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee support, payroll coordination and offboarding, alongside the practical running of the Malta office. You’ll be the main People point of contact for the team, working closely with colleagues and external partners across different locations.

The role is part-time, around 25–30 hours per week, and is ideal for someone experienced enough to work independently, while still enjoying a hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.

What will you be doing?

People & HR

- Act as the main People point of contact for employees and managers across the business
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee changes and offboarding
- Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employee matters and people processes
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
- Support employee relations, absence and performance matters
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Support the monthly payroll process in Malta and coordinate with our local HR/payroll partner in Bulgaria
- Coordinate benefits and other employee administration
- Work with external HR, payroll and employment partners to ensure effective support for employees across different locations

Office & Operations

- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Malta office
- Coordinate office suppliers, equipment, maintenance, access and other practical requirements
- Work with local contacts and providers to support the Bulgaria office remotely
- Support company events, team activities and employee engagement initiatives
- Coordinate with external providers including recruiters, payroll, HR advisers and other partners
- Support the business with ad hoc People, office and operational projects

Who are you?

- You have solid experience in an HR Generalist, People Operations or similar broad HR role
- You have good knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR practices
- You’re comfortable working independently and taking ownership across a broad range of People activities
- You have experience working in an international environment and supporting employees across different locations
- You’re organised, practical and detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to contracts, payroll and employee records
- You’re approachable and confident dealing with employees, managers and external providers
- You’re comfortable with a role that combines People responsibilities with office and operational tasks
- Experience in iGaming, B2B, technology or another international business would be an advantage
- Experience working with third-party HR/payroll providers in other countries would be a plus
- You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken
