Purpose of Job

- Enablement of standardised operations Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and supporting measures across all operations to enable consistent reporting and aligned performance management.

- Be a gatekeeper between Operations KPI standards and Functional requirements with regards to performance measurement.

- Track operations performance and practices result for all Operations OMEs.

- Analyse KPI results to identify gaps and opportunities.

- Benchmarking of internal KPI performance & practices.

- Defining data and system enablement requirements to automate the operations KPI measurements.

Key Accountabilities

Business Results

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and data analysis.

- Collate performance results across operations OME’s for reporting to Operations Steering Committee.

- Provide Operations KPI performance visibility and intelligence through standard measurement & reporting practices.

- Create and maintain BI reports & dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.

- Seek report automation solutions for cascading KPI’s to fit all operation's levels of work.

Governance and Compliance

- Support the development and enablement of Operations performance KPI standards through the Metrics Management System.

- Provide guidance to business on measurement and reporting of operations metrics.

- Provide assurance to business that KPIs are measured according to standard across Operations through audits.

- Provide assurance to business that critical controls consistently deliver the intended operational and business outcomes through KPI Audits.

- Communicate audit findings and insights to stakeholders.

- Support alignment of KPI standards and performance visibility across OME’s.

Formal Education

Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering/Science/Business) or equivalent.

Working Experience

- Minimum of 5 years exposure in Data Analytics environment.

- Understanding Sasol Ops systems and processes will be advantageous.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAP or Microsoft Azure DevOps)
