Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and decisive Group Retail Manager to lead our retail operations across multiple locations on our Campus in Shoreditch, London. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of our retail group, driving sales performance, enhancing customer experience, and developing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with motivational leadership to deliver exceptional results across all group stores.

- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of retail operations across multiple store locations, ensuring consistency in brand standards and customer experience • Manage and mentor  retail teams, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career progression opportunities to develop talent within the organisation
- Analyse sales performance, financial metrics, and key performance indicators across all locations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement • Develop and implement retail strategies that drive sales growth, market share expansion, and profitability whilst maintaining customer satisfaction • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices across all group stores
- Manage budgets and P&L responsibilities, controlling costs and optimising resource allocation to maximise profitability • Lead change management initiatives and implement new systems, processes, or merchandising strategies across the group • Conduct regular store visits and audits to monitor operational standards, staff performance, and customer service quality
- Collaborate with head office functions including marketing, merchandising, and supply chain to align retail operations with broader organisational objectives • Develop and execute staff recruitment, induction, and retention programmes to build and maintain high-performing teams • Gather and analyse customer feedback and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and competitive positioning

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:** • Minimum 5+ years' experience in retail management, with at least 2 years managing multiple store locations or a large retail group • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability in a retail environment • Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting • Demonstrated experience in P&L management and budget control • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation • Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sale technology • Knowledge of UK retail market dynamics and consumer behaviour

**Desirable Skills and Experience:** • Experience in change management and implementing new retail initiatives • Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising strategy • Background in staff recruitment and talent development programmes • Experience with retail compliance and health and safety management • Knowledge of omnichannel retail operations • Retail management qualifications or professional certifications in retail leadership
