About this role
City Chicken is a halal quick-service restaurant brand with locations in Berlin and Cologne. Our Cologne restaurant on Breite Straße opened in September 2026 and we are building the kitchen team that runs it.
**Our kitchen runs in English. You do not need German for this job.**
Your tasks
----------
* Preparing and grilling our chicken and sides to recipe
* Getting your station ready before service and restocking during the shift
* Keeping the kitchen clean and following hygiene standards
* Working with the shift team to get orders out fast
What we're looking for
----------------------
* A team player who keeps a clear head when it gets busy
* Clean and organised, works to hygiene standards
* Reliable, resilient and committed
* Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
* First experience in a kitchen is a plus, but not a must
* English is enough — German is not required for this role
* Valid work permit for Germany
