Job summary
As a Senior Associate in the Office of the International Private Bank CEO, you help set the rhythm of the CEO agenda and drive disciplined execution across key priorities. You partner closely with senior stakeholders to bring structure to planning, improve end-to-end accountability, and remove bottlenecks. You deliver executive-ready materials and communications that support timely, high-quality leadership decisions.
Job responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day operational excellence for the International Private Bank CEO by planning in advance, managing competing deadlines, and delivering reliably under time pressure.
- Establish and maintain initiative governance, including action logs, dependency tracking, risk/issue registers, and delivery timelines; proactively follow through to closure.
- Produce executive-ready materials for senior leadership forums, including agendas, pre-reads, meeting notes, decision capture, and progress updates with high quality control.
- Coordinate leadership communications to ensure consistent messaging, accurate detail, and disciplined version control across sensitive and time-critical materials; summarize business implications, delivery risks, and asks of leadership.
- Plan and drive content and coordinate logistics for International Private Bank leadership meetings (weekly meetings, management meetings, offsites, etc.).
- Support planning processes by coordinating inputs, validating key assumptions, and ensuring alignment of deliverables against CEO priorities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and key partners to accelerate execution, remove bottlenecks, and improve end-to-end accountability.
- Support process improvement initiatives that increase scalability and execution velocity in a fast-paced, growing business, with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or a closely related financial services business, with exposure to business management, COO-style execution, or strategic initiative delivery
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through in a high-velocity environment
- Proven ability to prepare polished, executive-level written materials and presentations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting senior leadership (business head, CEO office, or equivalent) within a matrixed organization
- Project management and/or process improvement experience, including structured risk/issue management and dependency tracking
- Familiarity with business reporting, performance measurement, and management routines in a Private Bank setting
- Experience working across regions and time zones and supporting cross-border priorities
- Ability to leverage approved AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize materials, and enhance the quality and consistency of executive communications
About the Team
The Private Bank delivers sophisticated advice and solutions to help clients define and achieve their objectives, supported by a broad Asset & Wealth Management platform. The Office of the International Private Bank CEO partners with leaders across the business to drive strategic priorities, strengthen operating discipline, and enable consistent execution at scale. The role is based in London. The role will report to the CFO & Head of Business Management but will work day-to-day with the CEO.
