PLACEMENT STUDENT – PowerGen Europe Business Operations

We are looking for an enthusiastic PowerGen Europe Business Operations Placement Student to join our team specializing in Sales for our Distribution Business Segment in UK, Wellingborough . During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Be working towards a degree that includes a qualifying placement year. Relevant subjects may include Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Economics, Project Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders; be able to manage priorities, take ownership and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Have good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail; be comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications; experience with Excel, PowerPoint or data visualization tools would be beneficial.
- Show curiosity, commercial awareness and a willingness to challenge the norm and identify improvements; bring professionalism, sound judgement and a positive, inclusive attitude.
