What you’ll do

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a high-performing Global Trade team supporting global operations.
- Ensure compliance with global import/export regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and trade policies.
- Oversee HTS/ECCN classification, sanctioned party screening, trade audits, and customs compliance programs.
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Global Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to manage compliance risks and support business growth.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports to measure performance and compliance outcomes.
- Lead strategic projects, digital transformation initiatives, and organizational growth within the Global Trade function.
- Drive employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
- Establish governance mechanisms to achieve SLA, productivity, quality, and compliance targets.
- Working experience in various countries import/export regulations and Trade operations (FTZ, LMW, FCZ, Bonded factory, Bonded warehouse & SEZ/EOU/STPI) & Free Trade Agreement (USMCA, KORUS, ASEAN FTA etc)
- Working experience in handling various Duty mitigation programs.

Who we’re looking for

- Job Experience : Minimum 15 years working experience in any of the following areas: Global Trade or Trade Compliance & Trade operations in global environment
- Educational :      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business or supply chain, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required. Advanced certification in Trade Compliance, Customs, International Trade preferred

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
