We are currently looking for a Junior HR Business Partner for our organization in Belgium (Groot-Bijgaarden).

As a member of the HR team, you play a key role in supporting managers and employees with all operational and administrative HR matters. You are the first point of contact for Hard HR topics and ensure compliance with local labor laws, the accuracy of HR data, and the smooth execution of HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who wants to further develop their expertise in Belgian labor law, HR administration, payroll coordination, and HR Operations.

The position reports to the HR Director.

Responsibilities

- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage and coordinate all administrative HR processes from onboarding to offboarding.
- Draft employment contracts, contract amendments, and other employment-related documents.
- Monitor personnel movements, including promotions, transfers, changes in working hours, and organizational changes.

Payroll and Salary Administration

- Act as the primary contact for payroll administration and work closely with the payroll provider.
- Track absences, leave requests, time registration, and benefits administration.
- Provide support in the administration of compensation and benefits and related documentation.

Labor Law and Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Belgian labor legislation, collective labor agreements, and internal policies.
- Monitor legal changes and provide support in implementing the required adjustments.
- Provide first-line advice to managers and employees on contractual and administrative HR matters.

HR Operations and Data Management

- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday and other HR tools).
- Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Develop and keep HR procedures, policy documents, templates, and documentation up to date.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiency.
- Support the digitization and automation of HR activities.
- Contribute to HR projects related to compliance, personnel administration, and operational excellence.

Work Experience

PROFILE DESCRIPTION

- Master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, business administration, payroll administration, or a related field
- Fluent command of Dutch and French, both spoken and written; good command of English.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a generalist HR role, HR Operations, or a payroll-related function
- Good knowledge of local legislation (knowledge of Luxembourg legislation is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Workday is a plus
