# Job Description Summary
The AI Infrastructure & Governance Lead is the "technical bridge" between the PCS business and the broader GE Vernova (GEV) IT and platform teams. Your role is to remove technical and compliance-related roadblocks, ensuring that our AI teams have the environment, data access, and security guardrails they need to work securely and effectively.
Job Description
- Technical Facilitation: Act as the primary liaison between the PCS AI team and GEV/Electrical IT/Platform teams to provision resources, cloud environments, and data pipelines.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce guardrails regarding data privacy, IP protection, and ethical AI usage, ensuring all PCS projects remain compliant with GEV standards.
- Infrastructure Management: Facilitate the adoption of enterprise-approved platforms and tools, ensuring the PCS team is not reinventing the wheel but leveraging existing GEV capabilities.
- Technical Roadblock Removal: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (e.g., latency, data access, tool licensing) that prevent work stream leaders from deploying models.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in AI/Data infrastructure (Cloud, MLOps, Data Governance).
- Experience navigating enterprise-level IT organizations and security compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate technical infrastructure needs into clear requests for GEV platform teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, AI or Data Science or Equivalent.
