About this role

Description

Do you want to help the world's leading media companies reinvent how content is produced, processed, and delivered on the cloud? AWS Professional Services is looking for a Senior Delivery Consultant (Cloud Infrastructure Architect) to join our Media & Entertainment (M&E) team.

As a Senior Delivery Consultant, you will be the trusted technical advisor on our most complex M&E engagements — architecting and delivering cloud solutions for live production, broadcast, playout, media supply chain, and OTT/streaming workloads. You will work hands-on with customers and partners to turn ambiguous business objectives into production-grade architectures on AWS, while shaping reusable IP and influencing AWS service roadmaps for the media industry.

This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who combines deep AWS technical expertise with real M&E domain knowledge, and who leads by influence across AWS, customer, and partner teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of complex M&E cloud solutions (live video, broadcast, playout, media supply chain, OTT) across customer engagements.
- Operate with autonomy in ambiguous environments where the technology strategy and solution design are not yet defined, delivering independently with limited guidance.
- Act as the technical leader on engagements — guiding customers on technology strategy, architecture, and investment decisions, and earning trust with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate across AWS service teams (e.g. Elemental, MediaConnect, MediaLive), partners, and customer teams; identify and close platform gaps and feed requirements into AWS service roadmaps.
- Transform engagements into reusable assets, reference architectures, and public references that accelerate future customer adoption.
- Mentor and develop other architects and contribute to the M&E technical community and best-practice education.

A day in the life
You'll partner with customers' architecture and engineering teams to solve industry-complex challenges — for example, bringing live/uncompressed video workflows to the cloud, or modernising a media supply chain. A typical day blends hands-on architecture and prototyping, whiteboarding with customer stakeholders, collaborating with AWS service and partner teams, and writing narratives that align business outcomes with technical delivery. You will move fluidly between tactical delivery and strategic influence, often leading across multiple workstreams and diverse groups, and managing escalations with ease. Internal stakeholders include AWS account teams, service teams, and partners; your customers are leading M&E organisations transforming their operations on AWS.

About the team
AWS Professional Services Media & Entertainment (ProServe M&E) works directly with the world's leading broadcasters, studios, and streaming providers to reinvent how they produce and deliver content on AWS — from live cloud production and broadcast to media supply chain and OTT. Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
- Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
- Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
- Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering AWS media services (e.g. Elemental MediaLive, MediaConnect, MediaPackage, MediaTailor) in production
- Broadcast, live production, media supply chain, or OTT/streaming domain experience
- Demonstrated technical leadership on complex, ambiguous transformation engagements, leading across customer, partner, and internal teams
