About this role

As the leader of Google Global Fleet (GGF) engineering, you will oversee a critical portfolio within GGF, managing the technology ecosystem and engineering teams responsible for machine and datacenter capacity, Tier 1 networking infrastructure, and the OneSource cross-tier integration platform. You will work directly with business leaders to optimize capacity delivery velocity while driving architectural excellence across these core infrastructure domains.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $364000 - $505000 (USD) + 40% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

- 15 years of experience in software development, design and architecture, data structures/logarithms, and testing.

Preferred qualifications:

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience in distributed computing infrastructure.

- Lead a high-scale engineering organization focused on the delivery of machine and data center capacity, Tier 1 networking, and cross-tier integration systems.

- Own the strategic direction for infrastructure design, capacity allocation, and the software ecosystem that supports these domains.
