IT Support Technician

Amico Corporation, a medical manufacturing company located in Richmond Hill (Hwy 7 & Leslie area), is looking for an IT Support Technician . The successful applicant will be self-motivated and disciplined, with MCP certification, a diploma from an accredited college or university, and at least 2 years work experience. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage and support user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.

- Manage user mailboxes and accounts in Microsoft Exchange Online.

- Manage and support Microsoft services, including Teams, DNS, DHCP, and file servers.

- Manage and support user permissions, as well as user onboarding and offboarding processes.

- Install, configure, and support PCs, laptops, IP phones, mobile devices, printers, servers, and CNC equipment.

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.

- Support Windows Server 2022 and 2025, as well as Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.

- Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications.

- Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network technologies, including VPN, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues in Cisco Meraki environments.

- Provide technical support for ERP systems, including SAP, BV, and Spire.

Knowledge of the following is required:

- Microsoft 365 applications and services.

- Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including related services such as DNS, DHCP, and print servers.

- Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.

- Basic knowledge of Cisco and Meraki networking technologies.

- Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, and other remote management tools.

- IT service management ticketing systems.

- Cisco VoIP technologies.

- Wi-Fi technologies and wireless controllers.

- VPN technologies and connectivity.

- Linux – basic knowledge

- Knowledge of network switches, routers, firewall.

- Knowledge of Virtualization (storage, servers, workstation)

- Must have willingness and ability to take initiative

Preference will be given to candidates with a good understanding of computer networks and an interest in expanding their knowledge and experience in that area.

Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
