Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Field Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment at various client sites. You will work independently and collaboratively to ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely, while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and adhering to industry standards.

- Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at project sites
- Conduct thorough site inspections and technical assessments to identify system performance issues
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and analytical problem-solving techniques
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and power distribution systems
- Test and verify equipment functionality using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized diagnostic software
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards throughout all field operations
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in technical reports
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineering teams to optimize system performance
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide technical support as needed

Qualifications

- Proven 10 Years of experience in electrical field installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting. 
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial equipment
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, clamp meters)
- Solid understanding of electrical safety protocols and industry standards (IEC, NFPA, local regulations)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Organized approach to work with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environments
- Preferred: Experience with PLC programming or automation systems
- Preferred: Familiarity with CAD software or technical documentation systems
- Preferred: Project management or supervisory experience in field operations
- Preferred: Relevant electrical certifications or licenses
