You wont just place orders. Youll help keep production moving. If you like solving the problem before it becomes a production problem, this could be your seat at the table

Our Buyer is retiring in January. Were starting the search now so the next Buyer can learn the business, build supplier relationships, and train directly with the person who knows the role inside and out.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role with real ownership. Youll help make sure the right materials and services are available when theyre needed, all while balancing cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and continuity of supply.

- Use ERP/MRP and purchasing data to make smart decisions about orders and inventory.

- Resolve shortages, delivery problems, quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and other supply-chain headaches.

- A natural sense of ownership, you follow the issue until its resolved.

- Confidence talking with suppliers, negotiating, and holding people accountable.

- ERP/MRP and Excel experience, with the ability to work comfortably with data.

- Curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset.

- Manufacturing purchasing experience is preferred; an associate or bachelors degree is a plus.

Why You Might See Yourself Here

You like being the person who figures it out. Youre organized but not rigid. You can have five things go sideways and still know what needs attention first. Youre comfortable picking up the phone, negotiating a solution, and following through. You like knowing your work has a direct impact on the plant floor.

If you are a Buyer who is excited for this rare opportunity to learn from an experienced professional before taking ownership, we want to hear from you.
