Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The Expeditor is responsible for the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the servers and/or guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
- Assist in organizing order tickets and proper placement of food-on-food trays
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure established recipes are adhered to and standards are being met on a consistent basis
- Inspect dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before sending them out to guests
- Assist in delivering orders/running food to maintain prompt service to guests
- Will maintain the highest level of service standards at all times and provide the best-in-class dining experience possible
- Addresses food/beverage or service-related guest issues and utilize creativity and resources available to maintain optimum satisfaction
- Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in overall cleanliness
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff
- Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing
- Must be knowledgeable of all health department standards and use good hygiene practices
- Support bussers/servers in their tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Works on the floor 100% of the time with a “hands-on” mentality for guest service
- Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all Team Members and the public
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and be customer-focused

- Knowledge of menu items and service as well as overall restaurant operations
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Two years of high-volume table-service dining required
- Fine dining (AAA 4 Diamond / Forbes 4 Star) service preferred
- Extensive training background in high-pace front of house team setting
- High school diploma. Higher degree in the Hospitality field preferred
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
