The Project Director serves as the primary coordinator between the different workstreams required to launch the IKC Fee-For-Service model. This individual’s work will include coordinating meetings and tracking next steps, executing projects as needed (such as finding a medical scribe company), and supporting model iteration.
### Key Responsibilities & Core Accountabilities
Manage the execution of the IKC FFS project plan:
· Set the agenda for the 8 committee meetings, track next steps, and follow-up with individual leaders to ensure next steps are completed on time.
· Flag risks to project timeline to VP of Operations and develop risk mitigation plans.
· Actively identify opportunities to improve project implementation timeline or efficacy. When opportunities arise, work with the VP of Operations to incorporate them into the broader project plan.
Ambulatory Encounter Workflow Design:
· In collaboration with the Operations Director and Medical Director, develop daily clinical workflows that balance high-touch patient care and key IKC clinical goals with protected administrative time.
Driving completion on key project deliverables:
· The project will encompass several workstreams – some of which are suited for a broader committee and others that will need to be owned by the Project Director. Some example workstreams are:
o Developing a system to build patient charts without burdening the care team, and if needed, collaborate with a 3rd-party medical scribe vendor to establish pre-encounter chart preparation.
o Standing up short-term clinical support infrastructure (such as 24/7 tirage for out-of-range lab results)
o In collaboration with clinical and IKC analytics, develop a scorecard that measure clinical and operational impact, that informs clinical and operational actions plans, and that can be automated.
· Be willing to assume ownership for new workstreams as needs arise.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
· 5+ years of project management experience within a complex, matrixed organization, and under tight timelines.
· Ability to drive a strategic vision, and then execute on tactical plans that support that vision.
· Experience developing systems and processes that support clinical providers and staff.
