Job Summary
Under general direction, conducts research and supports risk management projects. Provides guidance to junior staff and performs complex quantitative and qualitative analyses, risk monitoring, and reporting.
Essential Functions
- Lead analytics and reporting for risk dashboards and trend analysis; identify emerging risk patterns.
- Perform comprehensive Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) reviews; assess and strengthen internal controls.
- Develop and implement improved processes for internal controls and risk governance.
- Utilize advanced tools and techniques for data analysis and reporting across business units.
- Partner with Line of Business leaders to manage risk exposures and remediation plans effectively.
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- OR equivalent experience (required)
Skills
- Perform deep dives and trend analysis on risk data.
- Build advanced models and automate reporting workflows.
- Apply and improve risk frameworks across processes.
- Mentor junior analysts and review work for accuracy.
- Manage risk-related projects and deliverables.
- Design and execute robust control testing scripts.
- Facilitate discussions and gain alignment on risk issues.
- Develop management-ready reports and dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
- Identify root causes and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Deliver clear, concise summaries for senior leadership.
- Process Optimization: Drive improvements in risk management practices.

Physical Demands
- General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel
- Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
Driving Requirements
- Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
