Parts Counter Specialist - Volkswagen

Evans Volkswagen is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Counter Specialist to join our team.

We’re a family-owned dealership group that has been in the automotive business for generations, and we’re looking for someone who knows parts, understands the pace of a dealership, and takes pride in helping technicians and customers get what they need quickly and accurately.

What You’ll Do

- Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale customers, and retail customers with parts needs
- Look up and identify parts accurately
- Fill shop parts requests quickly to keep technicians productive
- Order and receive Volkswagen and aftermarket parts
- Maintain accurate inventory and help control obsolescence
- Process returns, cores, and warranty parts
- Handle phone and counter sales
- Build strong relationships with our service department and wholesale customers
- Keep the parts department organized, clean, and efficient

What We’re Looking For

Automotive parts experience is strongly preferred.

Volkswagen or other European-brand experience is a plus, but not required.

The right person will:

- Have previous dealership or automotive parts experience
- Be comfortable using electronic parts catalogs and dealership computer systems
- Be organized and detail-oriented
- Communicate well with technicians, advisors, and customers
- Be dependable and able to work at a fast pace
- Understand that getting the right part the first time matters
- Be a team player who is willing to jump in when needed
