About this role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive People Operations Lead to take ownership of our people processes and lead a team that ensures a smooth, structured, and compliant employee experience. In this role, you will guide and develop the People Operations team, lead and improve People Operations processes, advise employees and managers on employment-related matters, and contribute to building efficient and scalable HR practices.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop the People Operations team: set goals, distribute work, monitor quality, and support each team member's professional growth.
- Organize the team's day-to-day work so that People Operations processes run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with the law.
- Prepare, administer, and oversee employment-related documentation, including official letters, orders, agreements, and other HR documents.
- Advise employees and managers on employment-related matters and the application of the Lithuanian Labour Code.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of personnel data and HR documentation.
- Develop, improve, and implement People Operations processes, policies, and internal procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and optimize HR processes and take the initiative to implement improvements.
- Collaborate with government authorities and other relevant institutions on employment-related matters, including the employment of foreign staff.
- Support and advise colleagues across different departments on People Operations matters.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve the employee experience and support business growth.
- Ensure People Operations practices comply with Lithuanian legislation and internal company standards.
What we expect of you:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or personnel administration, with experience taking ownership of HR processes.
- Experience leading people, either as a manager or team lead with direct reports, or by leading project teams, working groups, or cross-functional initiatives without formal line management.
- Strong knowledge of the Lithuanian Labour Code and employment-related legislation.
- Experience with HR systems and personnel data management; experience with Rivilė would be an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and different departments.
- Proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach to People Operations processes.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy, combined with the ability to independently manage priorities, take ownership, and make well-informed decisions.

Salary:
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 19 Eur/h up to 29 Eur/h (~3170 Eur - 4838 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
