CACI is looking for Software Testers to work on new, modernized tech, taking legacy tech and moving to modern frameworks utilizing both manual and automated testing skills.  Chance to work on cutting edge technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for FEMA’s enterprise grants systems. As a Software Tester you ensure that FEMA GO and related applications maintain high reliability, accessibility, security, and performance standards. You will collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, product owners, and DevSecOps engineers to implement automation strategies that strengthen FEMA’s mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, API, and integration testing using Selenium, Protractor, Jasmine, Cucumber/Gherkin, or equivalent tools.

·         Build and optimize scalable automation frameworks, including Selenium Grid, parallel execution, cross-browser automation, containerized test suites, and cloud compatible runners.

·         Implement AI-assisted development and testing approaches to accelerate script generation, data creation, defect triage, and coverage validation.

·         Develop test strategies, plans, scripts, and automated pipelines integrated into FEMA’s DevSecOps environment (CI/CD, GitLab/GitHub, Docker).

·         Support Section 508/WCAG accessibility assessments within automation workflows.

·         Collaboratively refine acceptance criteria and enable Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) across multiple agile teams.

·         Define meaningful test metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.

·         Manage automated test data, synthetic datasets, and validation rules across distributed systems.

·         Perform advanced debugging, log analysis, root-cause identification, and cross-system defect reproduction.

·         Partner with Business Analysts, developers, and Product Owners to evaluate business logic, user flows, and edge cases.

·         Influence design, architecture, and user experience by identifying testability gaps and advocating for quality-focused engineering practices.

·         Provide mentorship to junior testers and contribute to best-practice documentation.

Qualifications:

Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree.  Will consider experience in lieu of education

·         7 or more years of testing experience which includes 5 or more years of automated and 3 or more years of manual testing or related experience

·         Demonstrated programming/scripting skills (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, etc.) with automated testing.

·         Hands-on experience with 2 or more of the following:

- Selenium Grid / WebDriver
- Protractor or Jasmine
- Cucumber/Gherkin
- JUnit, TestNG
- GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket

·         Experience with relational databases, UI/UX testing, Section 508 compliance testing.

·         Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Serena Business Manager, HP QC.

·         Willing to work onsite in Washington, DC

·         Must be willing and able to obtain a DHS/ FEMA EOD background investigation

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
