HP Canada is seeking a Vice President and Managing Director to lead the Canadian Sales team. A key member of the North America Commercial Organization, they will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Managing Director, North America and take full ownership of all sales related activities in Canada, providing this individual with a unique opportunity to drive aggressive growth and shape the future of their business in a dynamic market. The Managing Director, Canada, will serve as a key thought leader and closely partner with HP sales leaders in the North America region. They will execute an omni-channel, multi-motion business both through direct sales touches but also the development of the partner ecosystem. This position is based out of the HP Canada Head Office located in Mississauga, Ontario and significant travel is required due to customer and partner locations.

Job Description

The Canada Market Vice President and Managing Director is responsible for developing and deploying strategies that will advance market share/penetration, achieve profitable growth, and promote diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. This position will manage a Go To Market team in the Canada market and collaborate with Commercial Organization (CO) leaders with a focus on driving sales through established partners and customers directly. The position will also be responsible

for representing HP Canada’s interests internally and externally, and for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The Country MD will lead the HP Canada Market within a multifaceted and heavily matrixed global organization. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other major organizational functions both across Canada and as part of the North American market. Responsible for one or more recognized professional disciplines. Fully accountable for the success of the designated function, the Canada Commercial Organization. Influences strategy and sets policy and direction. Owns a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals or priorities. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined area of responsibility. Accountable for leading and inspiring the Canada CO team by establishing trust and building a winning workplace culture. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen. Acts as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the

business.

Responsibilities of this country leadership role include but are not limited to:

- Develops, owns and leads execution on Canada’s strategic plan, operational success
- and full integration with HP’s strategy, both within North America and globally
- Fully accountable for the long-term success of Canada market;
- Responsible for the operational success, strategic alignment and full integration of
- activities with other major organizational functions
- Fully accountable for the long-term success of the designated organization and to the
- overall contribution to broader Company goals.
- Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined
- area of responsibility.
- Leadership – Assumes point accountability and responsibility for HP Canada and drives
- a performance-based value system and culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and
- sustainability
- Ownership of the Canadian P&L in partnership with cross functional partners;
- responsible for driving profitable market share gains
- Leads the market management team and drives a high - performance culture
- Growth – Drives profitable growth across Canada
- Leads HP Canada and represents it to stakeholders and the external market.
- Delivers work that has broad company and/ or industry-wide impact.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related
- discipline; Master’s Degree preferred
- 10-12 years account management experience.
- Experience in IT industry and in vertical industry preferred.
- Experience in leading regional global teams.
- P&L and risk management skills and experience required.
- Cross country management experience is required
- Demonstrated experiences driving large-scale change
- Ability to lead with influence; demonstrated experience inspiring teams to meet shared
- goals and vision
- Proven learning agility and results focused
- French language skills – Preferred but not required
