The Clinical Support Unit (CSU) is a dynamic department that provides a high-quality float pool experience to the departments and patients we serve. This role is ideal for CNAs and Nurse Apprentices who enjoy variety, continuous learning, and the opportunity to work alongside multiple specialty teams across the health system. CSU team members are energetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting St. Luke's mission while gaining broad clinical experience in diverse care settings.

What you can expect from this role

- Night shift opportunities available in both Full-Time and Part-Time capacities
- Support patients across Treasure Valley locations including Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, while building experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Rehabilitation units
- Expand your clinical knowledge and skillset with opportunities to train and float to specialty areas such as Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Women's Services, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and the Infusion Center
- Work alongside experienced nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams while caring for a diverse patient population
- Gain exposure to multiple specialties, making this an excellent opportunity for those interested in advancing their healthcare career or pursuing nursing education
- Shift pay differentials for nights and weekends
- Additional 10% CSU-specific pay differential upon successful completion of orientation
- Eligible to apply for scholarships and educational support programs to pursue nursing education and career advancement

Qualifications: CNA

Licenses/Certifications:

Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice

CPR and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Required: Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditation)

CPR and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
