APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Drive quality readiness at factory development builds and mass production. Conduct data analysis on manufacturing data. Provide recommendations and next steps to cross functional team. Drive corrective and preventative actions. Establish and manage quality gates. Establish a quality control plan. Monitor quality management system and identify the right metrology to fulfill quality control plan. Drive quality issues to closure. Provide data driven risk assessment. Assess supply chain impact, drive failure analysis and monitor future field performance. Provide metrology establishment and qualification. Identify the right metrology. Perform MSA for metrology (GRR, Linearity, Kappa, correlation etc.). Improve metrology efficiency. Monitor development build and mass production yield performance. Align yield target with engineering and financial team. Drive corrective actions when yield is below target. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,500 - $201,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to help understand mechanical design drawing and establish proper quality inspection plan
Statistical Analysis in manufacturing – performing statistical data analysis to identify flaws, signals, or gaps during manufacturing and identify improvement plan
Supplier quality auditing
Supplier management
Applying knowledge of battery design and technology to help set up proper quality control plan
Measurement system analysis, using statistical approach to qualify measurement system
Battery manufacturing process – Understand battery manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and gaps in quality control plan
