The Internship assignment:
The Battery Equipment Engineering Intern takes on challenging daily tasks across a broad range of technical disciplines within battery production. The intern supports ongoing operations by contributing to various engineering processes, including the creation and editing of work instructions and maintenance plans, as well as supporting the engineering team during different implementation phases of technical specifications. Interns play a key role in standardizing internal documentation structures and work closely with supervisors and employees across multiple business units to develop and implement improvement measures.
- Support in designing work processes in accordance with technical and operational requirements.
- Creation and editing of work instructions and maintenance plans (e.g. in E-Plan).
- Maintenance and further development of internal documentation structures and their standardization.
- Drawing comparison and review using CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks).
- Support in spare parts management including documentation.
- Involvement in equipment design and manufacturing.
- Preparation of statistics, presentations, and training materials.
- Analysis of existing requirements and processes to identify best practice solutions.
- Ongoing studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Very good German language skills as well as good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Structured and independent working style.
- Good knowledge of common MS Office applications.
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- Knowledge in spare parts management and technical documentation is an advantage.
- Experience with SQL and Python is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach.
- Team player with strong communication skills, organized and able to work independently.
