Job Title: Material Planning Senior Expert – LATAM

City: Cotia Raposo 28, SP

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

As a  Material Planning Senior Expert – LATAM , you will play a key role in strengthening and evolving Material Strategic Planning across Latin America.

You will act as a regional subject-matter expert, connecting Material Planning with Procurement, Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Commercial, Customer Experience and global Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability, supply continuity and efficient inventory management.

This is a hands-on regional role, combining strong technical expertise in Material Planning with stakeholder management, problem solving and leadership through influence. You will help drive the transition toward a more integrated regional planning organization while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working.

Your key responsibilities

- Lead regional material planning activities, ensuring material availability, supply continuity and efficient planning across Latin America.

- Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, safety stocks, lead times, open orders and supply risks, proactively identifying potential gaps and driving mitigation actions.

- Develop and recommend material supply strategies, balancing service levels, inventory efficiency and business priorities.

- Act as a regional subject-matter expert in Material Planning, providing technical guidance and sharing best practices across countries and teams.

- Drive cross-functional alignment, working closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Commercial, Customer Experience and other relevant stakeholders.

- Manage and influence stakeholders across different functions and levels, balancing competing priorities and building alignment around material planning decisions.

- Support the regionalization of Material Strategic Planning, contributing to the evolution of processes, responsibilities and ways of working across LATAM.

- Identify and implement continuous improvements in planning processes, systems, parameters, data and operational routines.

- Leverage available data, reports and analytics to identify risks, support decision-making and improve planning effectiveness.

- Support the team in resolving complex planning challenges and act as a point of escalation for critical material and supply issues.

You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or a related field.

- Solid experience in Material Planning and end-to-end Supply Chain.

- Strong knowledge of MRP, material requirements planning and supply risk management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP.

- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with data and planning reports.

- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

- Experience with Kinaxis is a strong plus.

- Fluency in English and Spanish, with confidence communicating and making decisions in both languages in a regional environment.

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate challenging stakeholders and balance competing functional priorities.

- A hands-on and self-driven mindset, with strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a complex, dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a matrix and multicultural organization.

Your leadership impact

This position does not currently include direct people management. However, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership through influence, technical expertise and collaboration.

You will coordinate initiatives, facilitate cross-functional discussions, guide stakeholders and help shape regional Material Planning practices.
