Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

As the European regional logistics interface, manage and coordinate the end-to-end logistics chain, including customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, and returns. Act as the key interface between HQ and European regional/local teams to ensure logistics requirements, strategies, and standards are effectively implemented across the region.

2.1 HQ Alignment

· Communicate and coordinate with HQ and ensure HQ logistics requirements and strategies are effectively implemented within the European region.

2.2 Regional Logistics Operations

· Oversee regional logistics operations, including customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, and returns.

· Monitor logistics risks (KRI) and overall KPI performance.

· Lead internal controls and continuous optimization of logistics and supply chain processes across Europe.

· Organize and conduct bi-weekly regional logistics meetings and provide updates on key tasks, KPIs, operational issues, and improvement actions.

· Maintain an effective task-tracking mechanism to ensure timely follow-up and closure of outstanding actions.

· Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports, including logistics cost analysis, and proactively identify and address operational bottlenecks.

· Coordinate with HQ and relevant cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of logistics-related issues.

2.3 On-site Management & Travel Support

· Conduct regular warehouse inspections to ensure operational safety, quality, and compliance.

· Provide on-site logistics support for projects across offices, warehouses, project sites, and customer locations.

· Identify and address local logistics issues during business travel and coordinate solutions across relevant locations and stakeholders.

· Support the site selection, evaluation, setup, and launch of new logistics locations where required.

· Be flexible for regular business travel within Europe.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business/Process Management, or a related field; alternatively, 1+ year of relevant logistics experience.

· Fluent English is required for communication with European stakeholders and suppliers; Chinese language skills are preferred for communication with HQ.

· Good knowledge of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and supply chain processes.

· Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems, particularly WMS/TMS.

· Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis; proficiency in the MS Office suite.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify operational issues and drive process improvements.

· Knowledge of relevant EU environmental and sustainability regulations, such as PPWR, WEEE, F-gas, CBAM, Battery Regulation, etc.

· Experience in multi-country European logistics operations and/or cross-border team coordination.

· Experience with logistics digitalization, digital transformation, or system implementation projects.

· Valid work authorization for Germany.

· Able and willing to work long-term in Düsseldorf, Germany.
