Interested in a data center career but don’t have a technical background? Oracle’s Catalyst Foundations program is designed for people who are ready to learn, including military veterans looking to translate their skills and experience into a career in technology .

Catalyst Foundations is a 12-week paid work and training program that prepares participants for a career in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data center operations. Through hands-on experience, technical training, mentorship, and career development, you'll build the foundational skills needed to succeed as a Data Center Technician.

The goal of the program is for trainees to transition to permanent full-time Data Center Technician positions, dependent on successfully completing the program.

Whether you’re a military veteran transitioning to a civilian career , a recent high school graduate, or someone with experience in retail, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or another field, we encourage you to apply if you’re excited to learn and build a career in technology. Prior technical experience or a degree is not required.

What you’ll learn

• During the program, you'll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced technicians.

• You'll develop foundational knowledge in server hardware, data center operations, networking fundamentals, Linux, cloud infrastructure, safety and operational best practices, troubleshooting methodologies, and inventory and logistics operations.

• You'll also receive coaching, mentorship, and opportunities to continue developing your technical and professional skills throughout the program.
