Position Summary:

The research associate will participate in data collection and analysis, as well as training and supervising graduate and undergraduate students, preparing manuscripts, presenting at conferences, and assisting with grant writing. Candidates nearing graduation are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions:

- Conduct education research in different aspects of engineering education by performing interview protocol development, survey development, data collection, and analysis.
- Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and present work at conferences.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students and manage project tasks, including but not limited to data management, IRB approval, and data collection at sites.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications:

- A successful candidate for this position requires strong quantitative and qualitative research knowledge and excellent writing skills.

At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
