Deli Assistant - Part-Time

MACE Newcastle West is currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Deli Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve fresh deli products to customers
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Ensure deli counters and work areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their queries
- Monitor product quality and rotate stock as required
- Support the wider store team when needed

Requirements

- Availability to work Thursday to Sunday, daytime shifts
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous deli, retail, or food service experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided
- Willingness to learn and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
