About this role

What you'll do

- Build and drive Mythic's reliability and qualification strategy, including the qualification plan for our next-generation product

- Own automotive-grade qualification planning and execution, including stress testing (e.g., HTOL, HAST, TC, autoclave) and reliability modeling

- Partner closely with design, test engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet reliability and qualification requirements

- Analyze reliability and failure data to identify systematic issues, wear-out mechanisms, and opportunities to improve robustness

- Work directly with OSATs, foundries, and external test labs to execute qualification and reliability test plans

- Make informed tradeoffs across reliability margin, qualification timeline, cost, and product schedule

- Improve infrastructure, documentation, and analytics for reliability tracking and qualification reporting

- Operate as an individual contributor who is comfortable getting deep into reliability data, failure analysis, and cross-functional execution

What you'll bring

- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, qualification engineering, or a related silicon production role

- Experience taking silicon products through automotive qualification (e.g., AEC-Q100 or similar)

- Hands-on experience designing and executing reliability stress tests and qualification plans

- Deep understanding of semiconductor failure mechanisms, wear-out, and reliability modeling

- Strong debug instincts and data fluency — you know how to find signal in noisy reliability and failure data

- Experience working cross-functionally with design, test, quality, and manufacturing teams

- Comfortable operating with urgency, ambiguity, and a high bar for execution

- Builder mindset: you do not wait for perfect structure — you create it
