About this role

Tarte is looking for a Retail Operations Coordinator to own day-to-day operations for one or more key retail accounts, domestic and international. You'll be the operational point person between the retailer and our Sales, Planning, Distribution Center, Logistics, and Regulatory teams, turning forecasts into on-time, compliant deliveries and keeping each account growing and profitable.

The right person brings hands-on experience from a beauty or consumer brand, or from the retailer side, and knows how retail supply chain decisions show up on the shelf. You're proactive, you move fast when priorities shift, and you'd rather fix a process than work around it.

What You'll Do

- Manage life cycle of sales orders from forecast to delivery (OTS, EDI, order entry & booking, etc.).
- Serve as the operational partner to your retail accounts, sharing product information, inventory availability, and fulfillment plans built around each retailer's needs.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Planning to align supply and channel allocation for launches, seasonal sets, and promotional windows.
- Monitor account performance (fill rate, on-time delivery, compliance) and flag risks and opportunities before they become problems.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates regarding order status to Sales, Customer and Management.
- Actively engage with international field teams and regional managers to gather on-the-ground insights about customer preferences, competitive dynamics, and market-specific challenges.
- Coordinate with international retail partners to schedule pick-ups and ensure timely delivery and collaborate with Global Logistics & Regulatory teams to complete all compliance and shipping documentation.
- Ensure account contractual obligations are met through problem solving and analytical skills, and trouble shoot orders as appropriate and elevate issues through proper channels as they arise.
- Research and resolve claims, returns, and chargebacks in a timely manner by working with appropriate departments.
- Find and drive process improvements across order management and fulfillment.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, wholesale operations, sales operations, or supply chain at a brand or retailer; beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods preferred.
- Working knowledge of retail order management, EDI, allocation, and retailer compliance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision or another ERP system.
- Strong Excel and data skills; you can pull a report, find the story, and act on it.
- Clear, confident communication with retailers and internal partners at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Benefits

- Salary range: $66,500–$70,00 (compensation depends on factors including skill level, relevant work experience, and education)
- Medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, and access to health and wellness programs
- Paid vacation, holidays, summer Fridays, birthdays off, volunteer time, and more
- Makeup gratis, employee discount on tarte.com, and team give-back initiatives
- Friendly, fun, creative, and collaborative work environment
