Ensures all third party payments, including from Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance companies, are posted to resident accounts in myUnity and PCC. Works with campuses and Central Office Finance to reconcile bank receipts monthly. Coordinates with third party payers to receive electronic remittance advices and electronic funds transfer arrangements.

Monitor and download payment files and apply payments to resident accounts in myUnity / PCC

Receive campus deposit information, save to campus folders and post to resident accounts

Receive, scan and post manual checks from third party payers

Resolve payment discrepancies with reimbursement team as needed

Update deposit log daily and reconcile with campus and Finance staff monthly

Contact payers to transition payers to electronic processing or to obtain missing remittances

Research, resolve and report any clearinghouse or bank related issues

Provide feedback to management regarding any issues or repetitive errors that may be encountered during claim review and submissions

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required Degree : High School Diploma

Preferred Degree : Some college or Associates degree

Experience:

- Healthcare office setting experience required, minimum of 2 years of posting payments and analyzing accounts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Extremely detail oriented with a high level of problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines, working autonomously and in group settings
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive resident information
- Ability to complete mathematical calculations to assess accuracy of payments

Compensation Pay Range:
$23.61 - $32.90 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $23.61 - $32.90 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
